This is one of the most wonderful books I have ever read. It completely changed my perspective towards evolution. I highly recommend reading this book to any one remotely interested in Darwinian school of thought. It swept me off my feet. n the beginning, I thought the author is stressing too much on his ideas and that he is too stubborn about his theory but as the book goes on you can do nothing but appreciate and marvel at the ideas. I don't know if this Gene-centric evolution is correct or not but there is sure is a lot of evidence that points to it and it looks like(I should probably say, the author made it look like) anything can be explained by this theory. I now am planning to read his next book which is kind of continuation of this book, The Extended Phenotype. I will definitely add this book to my personal library.

This book affected me so deeply. I had a great professor to guide me through this book.

Good tension building story. You get little pieces to slowly put the puzzle together and the tension builds until the end. You really need to have read the other books in the series recently to help you put all the pieces together.
