Wow. This one will stay with me for awhile.
Beautifully written and I felt connected with his ideas. My favorite lines: "Our heads are full of dreams but our behinds drag us down like an anchor." "There is nothing more useless than trying to prove something to idiots." "If we cannot accept the importance of the world, which considers itself important, if in the midst of that world our laughter finds no echo, we have but one choice; to take the world as a whole and make it the object of our game; to turn it into a toy."
He has some rather interesting insights dealing with the dance that is between science and religion. I dont concur with all his conjectures but he raises some wonderful questions to those who believe and to those who aren't so sure. It is a wonderful read from a believer who wrote it and is a brilliant scientist.
