Bu kitabı her iki yılda bir tekrar okuyorum. Harika kitap!!
This is my first Agatha Christie and IDK, I'm not sure I really liked it. I enjoy twisty-turny books but not when the author simply holds all the clues and our genius detective figures it out based on things the reader had no way of knowing. There's also the element of Ms. Christie being of course, such a force in her genre that her work spawned copycats, homages, and cultural knowledge of plots. I wouldn't say Murder on the Orient express was spoiled for me by pop culture in the traditional sense, but it's hard not to compare the experience of reading it to my experience reading Rebecca in which it's been in some ways eclipsed by what has come later. IDK, YMMV. I will say that I listened to the audio book and the narrator was fabulous! It took me a bit to notice but as we speak to more and more characters I quickly discovered that the narrator had distinct vocal tics and accents for each of the characters. This was remarkable and I am quite impressed. I'm counting this as my MYSTERY for the 2015 PopSugar Ultimate Reading Challenge
