I was prepared to be disappointed. I've read many mixed reviews ranging from those telling me the book was amazing, to those saying it wasn't Deaver's best work. Well, I wasn't disappointed. The book was great and I completely lost myself in the plot and couldn't believe when I reached the end. As usual, Deaver gave us many plots that were connected to each other and I knew I had to pay attention or I would see the twist coming. I paid a lot of attention, but the twist still surprised me. And what a pay off it was. Some of the beloved secondary characters showed up again and it was amazing to see them again :) Once again, Mr. Deaver, a great book. Cannot wait for the next one.
